Representation of people/groups

In our music video we are representing our actors as being slightly indie by the clothes they wear and the location, of them supposed to be at a gig/party even though it is just being filmed in someone's garage. Our actors are going to be filmed to make it look as though they are having a really good time, and challenge stereotypes that teenagers are violent and lazy who are always hanging the streets. This is going to appeal to our target audience because when they watch our video they'll view it as something that they would be doing which would also draw them into the basic conventions that we have put in to also appeal them.
